How to read your 2026
Find your Day Master in the table (or in the free calculator, which computes it from your birth date), then open its page. Each page reads the year in three layers: the stem 丙 — what kind of year it is by nature; the branch 午 — the stage and hidden influences you meet; and the practical layer — what to do with the twelve months. The year is one-third of the story; your Day Master's strength and your luck cycle fill in the rest, which is what the full reading covers.

Questions people ask
What is special about the 2026 Fire Horse year in BaZi?
2026 is 丙午: Yang Fire over a Horse branch — the Fire element at full expression on a Yang, fast-moving branch. Because Fire is the wealth element for Water charts, the output element for Wood, the authority element for Metal, the resource element for Earth and the companion element for Fire, the same year plays five entirely different roles across the ten Day Masters.
Why does my Day Master change the meaning of the year?
In BaZi the year pillar is read as a relation to your Day Master — the stem that represents you. The year stem 丙 is assigned a role in your chart (Wealth, Authority, Resource, Output or Companion star) based on your element and polarity, and the branch is read by its stage and hidden stems. That is why two people can experience the same calendar year so differently.
Do I need my birth time for the 2026 reading?
No — the Day Master comes from your birth date alone, so the 2026 read on these pages needs only the date. Birth time refines the other pillars and is needed for the hour-level details in the full report.
